If you think you know Pahrump, Nevada, think again. This itinerary is for Nevada and California travelers who want to slow down, take their time and enjoy a getaway without trying to pack every minute. It is an invitation to experience a different side of the desert at a pace that leaves room for discovery.

Day 1: A Taste of the Town

Arrive, check in and ease into your stay with bowling, gaming or live entertainment at the Pahrump Nugget. From there, explore the valley one glass at a time. Enjoy a variety of wines at Charleston Peak or Artesian Cellars, discover locally produced mead and cider at Stonewise Mead or sample handcrafted spirits at Desert Cane Distillery. At Romero’s, explore a selection of more than 200 tequilas for a tasting experience that’s anything but ordinary.

End your first day with dinner at Steelbound Brewery, ChatThai Bistro or another local favorite dining spot, then enjoy a drink of your choice and settle into the evening at your own pace.

Comfortable, relaxed and exactly what you want after a day on the road.

Day 2: True Adventure and Local Flavor

Start your morning your way by teeing off at Lake View Executive Golf Course or, for something more unusual, head to the Pahrump Portal to Death Valley for a pure Pahrump experience you will not forget.

Explore unique finds at Death Valley Marketplace, pet and spend time with the rescued animals at Donkeys of Pahrump, discover the wonderfully unconventional Coffinwood, and step into the Old West at Weathers Gulch Ghost Town. THE HUBB Bar & Grill also has some incredible eats if you’re looking for burgers or other grill specialties while you’re there.

You can also head out for a scenic trip to Death Valley National Park or Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge before returning for some afternoon relaxation.

For the evening, pick your energy. Enjoy a fine dinner at Stockman’s Steakhouse, catch live music and special events at The Wine Down, or head out for a night of dancing at Rhinestones Country Bar. If you’re looking for something a little more laid-back, Shenanigans offers another way to spend the evening.

However you spend it, the night is entirely yours in Pahrump.

Day 3: Easygoing Send-Off

Take your time with breakfast and coffee at O Happy Bread, Our Place or Black Cow Coffee, then browse local shops like The Outpost or Attic Fanatics, where you can find goods that reflect the authentic character of Pahrump.

If you still have time, take a leisurely stroll through Discover Park, where duck ponds and local wildlife offer a quiet break before the drive home. You can also close out the trip with a stop at the Pahrump Valley Museum or a short scenic drive beneath the Spring Mountains.

It is an easy wrap to a trip that is never rushed—and one that may have you planning your next visit before you even leave.
