PAHRUMP VALLEY WINERY NAMED FINALIST FOR NEVADA TOURISM CAMPAIGN

PAHRUMP, Nev. (July 30, 2013) — Pahrump Valley Winery in Pahrump, Nev. has been named one of the top two finalists for the Nevada Silver Trails Territory in the annual “Discover Your Nevada” campaign, presented by the Nevada Commission on Tourism (NCOT).

The NCOT campaign aims to highlight Nevada’s “hidden treasures” and educate Nevadans about different places to see in the state to encourage in-state exploration and travel. The contest is divided by the six different tourism territories in the state. Each territory will have one winner.

Voting takes place via Facebook with one vote each day. Voting ends Aug. 2. The winner from each territory will be announced Monday, Aug. 5.

Pahrump, Nev., an hour west of Las Vegas and an hour east of Death Valley, is telling its story of extremes. From top-notch wineries and the largest specialty coffee roaster in Southern Nevada to Front Site Firearms Institute, Mountain Fall Golf Club and Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, it’s very evident Pahrump can and does fulfill any and everyone’s desire for adventure.
